Essendon Symphony Orchestra: Animal Antics Kids' Concert + Giveaway

The Essendon Symphony Orchestra are holding their yearly kids' concert at the Clocktower Centre this month on Sunday 23rd of August at 2:30pm. Little ones will love this year's concert 'Animal Antics' which will feature lots of musical fun and entertainment! They can even come dressed as their favourite animal!

There will be lots of animal music on the day, from the fast ‘Flight of the Bumblebee’ by Rimsky-Korsakov to some beautiful excerpts from ‘Swan Lake’ by Tchaikovsky. There will be excerpts from 'Carnival of the Animals' by Saint-Saens including the ponderous Elephant and 'The Thieving Magpie Overture' by Rossini.

The concert will be aimed at little ones but adults will still appreciate it. There will be explanations about the music and the orchestra and a few surprises during the show for little ones to gain an appreciation for music and more importantly have fun :)
