'Play' at the Incinerator Gallery - Moonee Ponds
Play is a small exhibition currently at the Incinerator Gallery located in Moonee Ponds.
Narinda Cook encourages play in this exhibition through the act of making and interacting with art, taking inspiration from philosopher Rudolf Steiner, children's art and craft materials and a rainbow colour palette.
The large colourful forms respond to a gentle nudge by rocking back and forth. You can also listen to some gentle music using the headphones provided.
Little Miss was a bit unsure at first but was happy to nudge the large shapes after I showed her how to. It's a cute yet colourful exhibition that little ones and little bubs will find interesting to walk around or just nudge slowly whilst listening to soothing music.
Play is on at the Incinerator Gallery from now until the 27th of September in the Atrium - FREE entry. More info at: http://www.mvcc.vic.gov.au/experience-moonee-valley/arts-and-culture/incinerator-gallery/exhibitions.aspx
