Spit West Reserve - Mosman

Spit West Reserve is on the western side of Spit Road near the Spit Bridge in Mosman. This playground is great for toddlers who love a boat themed playground overlooking a marina. It is in great condition and is fully fenced.

Little Miss loved the boat structure with the two slides, the climbing rope and the little stepping levels.

There is also some sand next to the boat structure for a little sand play.

Little Miss liked the stepping steps in the boat structure. A little tricky but a good challenge for little ones.

The playground also has two small swings as well as a large swing.

The large swing overlooks the marina which is great for a swing and a view. There is a walking and bike path next to the playground which is ideal for a stroll or a scoot after play.

Tips:

-Bring sunscreen and a hat for your little one as the playground is nice and sunny on warm days
-If your little one enjoys the slide, come after midday as the slide is a bit hot to touch from the sun hitting it during the morning
-Bring some snacks to enjoy at the picnic tables in the playground or just outside the playground in the shade overlooking the wharf and chat about the boats
-You can enjoy a fancy lunch in two restaurants nearby, we didn't get to try them out as little miss just wanted her snacks
-There are nearby toilets and a disabled toilet but no change table facilities there
-There is parking next to the playground which is convenient but fees apply
