The Secret Life of Suitcases - Arts Centre Melbourne

The Melbourne Minor gang fell in love with the magic of The Secret Life of Suitcases this morning at the Arts Centre Melbourne. Here's Kel's review. Thank you Kel for the review and pics xo Catherine

The Secret Life of Suitcases is a heartwarming story about a hard working man called Larry. Two puppeteers bring to life many different characters to join Larry on stage and spin a tale that will both entertain children and captivate adults.

There is plenty of humour in the show but the underlying message is a profound one. The whimsical story along with the puppeteers being an active part of the story, not hidden behind curtains as they would normally be, gives the show a vibe of children telling an amazing tale with beloved toys.

My whole family really enjoyed the performance and the phrase 'the qworks will fix it' has already made it's way into the family vernacular. I feel like it's a story that will stay with us for a long time after the suitcases have travelled on.
