They saw the impressive Subconscious of a Monument installation which consists to earth excavated from underneath Leaning Tower of Pisa (to stop it falling).

They were mesmerised by the Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View installation of a blown up garden shed & contents where they saw books, old toys and all sorts of pieces.

They also saw the Thirty Pieces of Silver installation which consists of unique silver-plated objects flattened by a steamroller which hover from the ground as to giving them a rebirth. As they are suspended from the ground via a string, the objects project special sounds when they touch each other. You can hear them at moments of silence.

After a preview of Cornelia Parker, we checked out Cornelia’s kids’ hands-on installation Boom, Crash, Stitch! inspired by the artist’s fascination with cartoons, found objects and good old-fashioned handicraft.

Kids can contribute to this kids’ installation by shaping foil by hand, squishing it, flattening it and rolling it using two different machines.

Kids will want to do this over and over again and hang it to the installation’s art piece - so much fun!
