  • Christmas at Warringah Mall - Many events will be taking place at Warringah Mall leading up to Christmas. Santa’s Arrival Parade, Santa Photography, Sensory friendly Santa photos, Pet Photos, Thomas & Friends Christmas Show, Christmas Carols Spectacular, Christmas Bauble and Snowglobe making kids workshop, Kids Christmas Cooking Classes, a Autism-friendly Christmas Workshop with Santa.   • Christmas at Chatswood Chase - Chatswood Chase Sydney will present a fun-filled day of Christmas festivities with the arrival of Santa, craft workshops, a petting farm with baby deer (fawns), and roaming performers including elves, carollers and Nutcracker ballet dancers. Across Levels One and Two, the littles ones will be kept entertained with free activities including a petting farm with baby deer as well as make-and-take craft workshops including painting timber toys and decorating gingerbread men. Throughout the day, festive performers will entertain shoppers, with Nutcracker ballet dancers, Elves on stilts, and Christmas carollers singing all the favourite carols.   • Christmas in Darling Harbour - Celebrate the festive season at Darling Harbour with loads of free family fun. Wander around our 6 metre tall Christmas bauble and see sparkling light displays. Settle in on the grass and enjoy classic Christmas movies on the outdoor screen or bring the kids down for hands-on workshops and activities in December. Every day, 9am to 10pm.   • Christmas Bauble at World Square - Visit World Square this Christmas to snap your festive selfie! The Square will be lit up with a giant illuminated Christmas bauble for you to stand inside of and capture your festive moment. Share your selfie of the giant illuminated bauble with #worldsquare for your chance to win!Light up Christmas and share a selfie inside the giant illuminated bauble. Every day, 6am to 12am. Thursday 15th November to Monday 24th December 2018. Free. More info here.

  • Christmas in the City at Christmas precinct in George Street, Pitt Street Mall and Martin Place - See the heart of Sydney’s city centre come alive with roaming entertainers, stage shows, choirs, lights, decorations and activations, mixed with late-night shopping there will be fun for everyone! The Martin Place Christmas Tree will light up at 8.30pm as fireworks illuminate Sydney’s spectacular skyline. Kids’ entertainers will be live on the streets to party with you, including Jimmy Giggle,  Justine Clarke,  Sam Moran, SplashDance and Nay Nay. Santa will arrive in a brand new sleigh – stay close to say hello as he rides his way through the event. Saturday 24th November from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Free. More info here. 

  • Martin Place Christmas tree at Martin Place - We’re brightening up Martin Place every night from dusk. Sing along with choirs at the Martin Place tree every night, from 24th November to 24th December from 6pm to 8pm. Free. More info here.

  • Sydney Christmas Children's Concert at Prince Alfred Park, Chalmers Street in Surry Hills. Kick off your festive season at our free family-friendly children’s concert at Surry Hills, 2 minutes walk from Central. It’s jingle all the way, as MC Jimmy Giggle, presents Justine Clarke, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, SplashDance, The Listies and more children’s favourites. Kids can enjoy craft activities, and play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Santa will make a special guest appearance, and the night will culminate in a glittering fireworks display. Saturday 1st December from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Free. More info here.

  • Christmas on the Green at Matron Ruby Grant Park in Zetland. Green Square Plaza - For the first time ever the City of Sydney is transforming Green Square into a wonderland of Christmas fun – and you’re invited. This special corner of Sydney will come alive with performances from Sam Moran,  Sydney Philharmonia Choir, SplashDance, Ally Boom Boom & The Cool Bananas, DJ Peter Baecker, and the Glorious Sousaphonics. Santa will make a special guest appearance and the night will end in a glittering fireworks display. Kids can enjoy craft activities, table tennis and games with our Christmas elves. Sunday 2 December from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Free. More info here.

  • Lights of Christmas at St Mary’s Cathedral - The spectacular Lights of Christmas, an AGB Event presented by Paynter Dixon, will adorn St Mary’s Cathedral with Sydney’s favourite Christmas tradition. The free nightly light and sound show includes 7.30pm choir performances and projections from 8.30pm to midnight. This year’s show will appeal to all ages, and will be split into 3 segments.   • Woolworths Carols in the Domain - This year will be the 36th year of this star-studded Christmas celebration. Come early to enjoy the Christmas Carnival from 12pm or at twilight for the commencement of the main event, at a family-friendly time of 7.45pm. For those who can’t make it, you can watch Carols live on the Seven Network at 8pm. Sat 22nd December 7:45pm - 10:30pm. More info here.
