Little Kids Day In | Caring for Country is dedicated to the youngest of learners. Experience everything Scienceworks has to offer along with specially developed programs and activities around caring for Country and First Peoples' knowledge for early learners. Ages 5 and under.

Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
11AM | AMPHITHEATHRE | INCLUDED WITH ENTRY. Join us to be part of a special Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by a representative from the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation, the Traditional Custodians of the land that Scienceworks is on. The ceremony will be followed by a Dij/Yadiki (Didgeridoo) performance.Little Wombats Storytime

11:30AM, 12:30PM | SURCHARGED | BEST FOR 3+ In this 30-minute show developed specifically for early learners, we’ll make mini versions of weather, including clouds, rain, rainbows and mini lightning. The show will finish with giant lightning bolts from our Tesla Coil. Please note, the Tesla Coil is loud and can frighten some children.The Glow Show

Learn about First Peoples’ constellations and star stories under the dome of the Melbourne Planetarium in these free 15-minute sessions exploring the night sky.
