The Big Freeze Festival 2016 - Melbourne - Launch Day Review

The Big Freeze Festival launched last Saturday 2nd of July and is on until Monday 10th of July. The aim of the festival is to provide city peeps an affordable snow experience to enjoy with the family saving on expensive snow gear and equipment, accommodation and long travel.

Our little snow explorer Ruby and her parents attended the launch for us last weekend and it looks like so much fun. I must say I wish I was a kid again!

Kids can experience the feel of snow falling on their hands in the Snow Forest during regular sessions throughout the day.

They can have a pic of them taken in their own giant inflatable snow globe or get involved in rainy day arts 'n' crafts.

Enjoy the snow experience by playing in the cold, wet, icy snow or take part in a snow ball toss with friends and family in the snow village or enjoy unlimited rides on the polar bear slide.

Kids can also enjoy stage performances by Anna & Elsa, play in a snow village cubby/café/shop, get superhero training and more or enjoy the simple pleasures and scoop fresh snow and build a snowman.
