Foley Reserve - Kew - Melbourne - Review
The new Foley Reserve replacement certainly ticks many boxes for residents. It looks superb, has a helicopter, a tram, slides, swings, a basket swing, a bike/scooter track with traffic signs and lots of picnic and seating spots.
Kids can go up the nature stone steps to get to the embarkment slide, climb into the refurbished helicopter from Alexandra Gardens and then slide down the other side.
We love the little tram and kids will love it too and they will love the new structure with slide for older kids, monkey bars, track ride, fireman's pole, rope climbs with a ‘Foley Café’ shop front with all ability access. There's also a new basket swing for all ability and a relocated kangaroo rocker as well as new planting and timber logs to encourage nature play.
Bring the scooters or bikes as the kids will love the little bike path with play traffic signs and a recharge station. Bring some snacks or a picnic and enjoy this great setting. Shade trees have been installed for the future so in the meantime slip-slop-slap.
This playground is located at 15-23 Foley Street in Kew.
