Imaginaria - Melbourne - Review
Kate and her family were pretty excited to get out and about again and Imaginaria was the perfect post-covid experience for them! They really enjoyed the space, the different areas they could explore and interact with and the overall sense of imagination which the installation allowed them to tap into.
Imaginaria is an hour long walk-through experience where imagination & technology collide to create a visually stunning audiovisual play experience from the future. Kate’s little ones loved exploring the giant interactive inflatable bubble, finding their way through the light maze & jumping into the abyss.
It was specifically designed for both adults & children of school age however alternative pathways and aspects of the design allow people of all ages to experience this wonder.
Imaginaria is a celebration of imagination, technology and play that has been designed by fashion designers, architects, musicians, audiovisual artists, sculptors, stunt men and circus stars.
Walk into a giant interactive inflatable bubble, find your way through the light maze or jump into an abyss.
Visitors will really enjoy just being in the moment, exploring away and enjoy this great distraction!
Renata and her daughter Anastasia headed back to Imaginaria in November 2020 to checkout brand NEW installations inside the project and a collab with French filmmaker Thomas Vanz! Think giant bubble and cosmic forms.
A walk-through also features a series of architecturally designed structures with a unique experience inside and some surprises.
Chroma Lab is another brand NEW installation echoing imagery and sounds with projections looping inside a mirrored chamber - the ultimate sensory indulgence.
