The Pottery Café Collaroy - Sydney - Review
During the July school holidays, we headed to The Pottery Café in Collaroy opposite Collaroy Beach. This little café is popular with kids and parents wanting to relax and paint a few potteries while enjoying their coffee or food.
This was a cute task to do during the break so we were looking forward to it. When we arrived, we were asked to sanitise, told where our table was with all the painting equipment and how long we had to paint our pottery. We selected our pottery to paint and brought it to the counter for paying and ordering of drinks.
We then sat down and the kids started painting away while I enjoyed my coffee.
After some time, the masterpiece was complete and given to dry and to cook in the kiln and advised to wait for a text message for pickup dates and times.
We admired other painters’ finished product before we left and waited for a txt message which we received a few weeks after our session.
We were pretty excited to pickup our masterpieces when they were ready and to see how it would look from the other plaster painting activities we have done in the past and oh my they look great! Well worth the wait! Super glossy and the colours pop. A nice little souvenir.
