Bricktionary: the ultimate A–Z of LEGO® at Melbourne Museum
The Brickman - Ryan McNaught’s latest exhibition - Bricktionary: the ultimate A–Z of LEGO® is based on his latest book titled by the same name. Kate and her Lego fans headed to the Melbourne Museum back in early September to have a look and review the exhibition.
This latest exhibition was built to inspire LEGO® builders’ imaginations and challenge visitors with four new interactive build zones as well as lots to read about and learn from - perfect from kids and big LEGO® kids aka us parents ha!
The exhibition includes over 150 models from the book as well as models from TV’s LEGO Masters Australia which we recognise, never-seen-before creations and over 45 new models from the imaginations of the Brickman team!
E is for Earthquake and Exciting! Visitors to Bricktionary: the ultimate A–Z of LEGO® can build a LEGO® brick model to survive an earthquake! They can read up on the Building instructions provided on the build table and try a few things following the Try This instructions. Kids will love learning about how to make their LEGO® builds strong then they can test their skills against the Earthquake machine! How long can their build last?
This exhibition is quite interesting and some parts are interactive in addition to the 4 dedicated build zones.
Visitors can add to the contributor wall by building their small square as per instructions provided on one of the tablets on the LEGO® table.
Kids are also invited to build their own little forest creature to add to the LEGO® forest tree. Kate’s little ones really enjoyed this activity and added their creature to the tree.
They also learned lots of tips & tricks from the pros and were inspired to build their own robot to help them around the house with the thousands of LEGO® parts provided at the build station.
They also had the opportunity to learn from Brickman himself Ryan McNaught and his team!
Some great builds by the Brickman team will amaze the kids and give them inspiration to build away!
