For the first time since their historic 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup success, Matildas standouts Mackenzie Arnold, Mary Fowler and Alanna Kennedy will reunite in Sydney for a world-first fan-focused event. The inaugural "Open Air Live" kicks off at 7pm on Thursday, 21 December, at Sydney's Commbank Stadium, giving audiences exclusive access to Australia’s heroes.
Hosted by Sports Anchor, James Bracey, fans will connect with the Matildas like never before. In a live masterclass, the trio will demonstrate their exceptional skills and candidly discuss their personal journeys, illustrious careers, and unforgettable moments on the field. The event will be truly immersive, featuring stunning visuals and stadium screens to capture the exhilarating match day atmosphere, utilising innovative 4-stage compass setup and advanced audiovisual technology.
Matildas forward and youngest-ever player, Mary Fowler, said: “I’m excited to be part of the Open Air Live event in Sydney this December. Mackenzie, Alanna and I will be taking the field at CommBank stadium for a huge night of entertainment; you won’t want to miss this!”
