Lino Printing for Teens at the Australian Museum

  • Australian Museum (map)

In this new workshop, teens aged 13-16 years will learn the art of lino making, led by visual artist Leon Fernandes.

Inspired by Uncle Badger Bates' work displayed in the new Barka exhibition, creative minds will learn how to create monoprints or layered prints and use unique materials to etch drawings into lino.

Young artists will engage sequencing and planning skills as they build on their artwork with layering techniques, and discover the magic of their creation, from carving, to pulling ink to seeing their artwork unfold.

Note: Please bring or wear an old shirt that you’re okay with getting paint on.

Fee applies.
