The Dog Lovers Festival will be returning to Sydney this August 26 + 27 at Sydney Showground with an all-new festival look, PLUS in a history first, the Cat Lovers Festival will be debuting in Sydney for the furrr-st time, right next door!
Opening day will fall on International Dog Day, so for all those who celebrate it’s set to be an incredible day! And, if cats are more your thing, next door will be a festivus for the rest us!
Sydneysiders will be treated to an un-fur-gettable weekend with over 800 dogs and 200 cats side by side, making it fur-ever easier to be inspired, educated and entertained at two of the largest pet-dedicated events in the world.

Dr Katrina Warren + CATMANTOO & Didga will all be on deck at the WHISKAS® Stage with ‘Cat Daddy’ Jackson Galaxy streaming in from LA, the ultimate education and entertainment destination with impressive talks, demonstrations, and Q&A’s
Festivalgoers can check out over 200 rare and popular breeds of cats at the Trouble & Trix Breed Showcase
Pat-A-Cat Zone will provide the opportunity to meet, connect and learn about the wonderful creatures they are in a safe and secure environment

SYDNEY DOG LOVERS FESTIVAL
The ADVANCE Stage will host some of Australia’s top trainers and industry talent including the trainer behind Oddball and Red Dog, Luke Hura, as well as Kelly Gill and the Wonderdogs and Dr Karl Kruszelnicki
Bluey and sister Bingo from the Australian animated series will also be on Stage with daily performances for the first time
Visitors will be thrilled by Antinol® DockDogs as a team of impressive canines go head-to-head in Big Air, Extreme Vertical and Speed Retrieval competitions, launching themselves off a raised dock and into a 100,000-litre pool.
Those looking to boost their ‘feel good’ hormones can head to the Lyka Pat-A-Pooch Zone, where they can get up close paw-sonal with some friendly pooches
