Sound Stories at the Sydney Opera House

Welcome to Sound Stories, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary! Get ready to embark on a unique sonic adventure, discovering the beauty of the sounds that surround you every day. This workshop is about turning the tapestry of everyday sounds into collaborative, enchanting soundscapes.

Presented by artists and colleagues from The Artground, Singapore.

Create a tapestry of music

Explore creating music in a different way in this parent-child workshop. What kind of sounds can you hear in the forest? Would it be the sound of ants marching through the wet soil or water dripping from a leaf? Participants will draw what they hear and create the sound that best describes their forest picture. By the end of the workshop, participants will weave the different sounds together to create one of a kind sonic narratives.

Presented by the Sydney Opera House with The Artground Singapore

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body, and the National Arts Council Singapore
