Kids drop-in workshop: A hive of activityWith Collective Paper Aesthetics
What do you love about nature and the world around us?
In this drop-in workshop, you’ll decorate shapes with patterns and words to help make others aware of the beauty of our environment and how we need to look after it. You’ll then learn how to fold the shapes and join them to others to form interconnected structures.
Created from pieces of A4 card, the shapes are inspired by those created by native bees in their hives and what different pollens look like under a microscope.
Take part anytime during the specified hours. Materials and instructions are provided. Suitable for all ages. Children should be supervised by an adult.
You can also create these shapes at home using our downloadable activity sheet.
This workshop and activity sheet are developed by international architect and designer Noa Haim from Collective Paper Aesthetics. To find out more about the entire project with Noa Haim, including other events and the at-home activity sheet, see Inside the Hive.
