The Oscar-nominated feature animation Memoir of a Snail is coming to ACO On The Pier this June. We’re thrilled to announce five special screenings in The Neilson, with live performances of Elena Kats-Chernin's evocative original score performed by the ACO.

From Academy Award®-winning director Adam Elliot, this poignant and darkly funny tale follows Grace Pudel, a misfit with a love for books and ornamental snails, as she navigates life’s challenges with resilience and heart.

The film has a star-studded cast including Sarah Snook, Eric Bana, and Magda Szubanski, and with live music from the ACO with special guests Elena Kats-Chernin (piano) and James Crabb (accordion) this incredibly moving experience is not to be missed!

Please note Memoir of a Snail is rated M and is unsuitable for children under 15 years.
