Discover the science of light and colour at the South Australian Museum these school holidays!
Join us for an exciting, hands-on workshop this July inspired by Patch Theatre and their spectacular new show Superluminal, premiering at the South Australian Museum in collaboration with Illuminate Adelaide.
Engage in investigative play that links art with science, fostering curiosity and creativity. Led by Superluminal artist Luku Kukuku from Polymorphic, this workshop dives into the fascinating world of light and colour through fun and creative activities designed for children aged 5-12 years.
Using coloured viewing filters participants design and draw their own unique creatures and then experience the magic of seeing their artwork change as the different filters are applied.
All participants get their own set of red and blue viewing filters to take home, so the fun and creativity can continue.
