Children’s Book Week Storytime (0-8 years old) at the State Library of Victoria (Free)

Celebrate Children’s Book Week and hear Author Corinne Fenton read her shortlisted book, Lionel and Me. 

Perfect for kids aged 0-8, this special Storytime event includes a hands-on craft workshop inspired by the book characters.

Afterwards, get involved in a hands-on workshop where your kids will have the chance to jump in the backyard with Lionel and do some crafty activities. 

Corinne Fenton is an award-winning Australian author, best known for her heart-warming picture books. In Corinne’s other life she was the Assistant Regional Advisor (Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia) for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators for eight years, and has been a judge for the Primary School section of the Dorothea MacKellar Poetry Awards. She is an Ambassador for Australia Reads.

When: Saturday 19 August, 10.30–11.30am AND 12–1pm
