Join an award-winning international guest artist Gijong Yoo, from Jeonju, Korea and connect with found natural objects while learning skills in photography and print making.
You will be guided through visual art activities including taking photos, discovering natural objects that resemble you, writing a letter to your object-self, and making prints using Calligraphy ink on Hanji (handmade Korean traditional paper), as well as exploring the senses, particularly focusing on sight and touch.
There will be a Korean-English Interpreter to help you communicate with Gijong.
Please bring a nut-free snack and drink.
Please wear comfortable clothes, that you don’t mind getting dirty. Fabric smocks will also be provided.
