Autumn Moon Festival Days at Museum of Chinese Australian History

Come along to the Autumn Moon exhibition and live festivities, with 45-minute sessions commencing at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm:

- Introductory talk on the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
- Mooncake-making demonstration.
- Autumn Moon performance.
- Riddle guessing.

There'll also be Lantern Making ($5 per lantern-making kit), the Chinese Museum permanent exhibitions, and an outdoor stage with cultural performances and food stalls in Chinatown Square and Cohen Place.

On Sunday the museum remains open until 8pm.

Dates:

  • Sat 30 Sep - 10am to 4pm

  • Sun 1 Oct - 10am to 8pm

Costs: Adult / general $10, Free for children under 12.
