Share the Spirit at Sidney Myer Music Bowl

  • Sidney Myer Music Bowl (map)

Share the Spirit, presented by Songlines Aboriginal Music, returns for another year as the state’s largest and longest running Indigenous festival. This event provides a moment of togetherness as we share this time to respect the survival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

The community-based festival is an important gathering for local and regional communities but welcomes all to join in respect of the survival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Legendary acts performing include Coloured Stone, No Fixed Address & Blackfire with performances from contemporary artists, David Arden, Kutcha Edwards, Deniece Hudson, Stray Blacks, Robbie Bundle, Yambra, Richard Frankland, Brian Morley, Yung Warriors and Deans of Soul.

A brilliant showcase of Indigenous women will be performing including Madi Colville- Walker, Maylene Yinar Slater, Canisha, Monica McDonald, Naretha Williams, Carissa Nyalu , Leonie Whyman & Charlie Woods.

The Djiiri Djirri Dancers will be there to perform along with the kids from Yappera for a special performance. There will be food stalls and stalls on site.

Come together for communal healing and stand in solidarity with the oldest continuing civilisation in the world.

As with every Songlines event, all people are invited to attend, and a safe space is offered for all.
