LIT – lighting up Wyndham Park!

LIT – lighting up Wyndham Park!

As the sun goes down, Wyndham Park will be LIT again this March for 14 spectacular and twinkling evenings with all new installations.

Explore wonderous landscapes transformed by brilliant lighting experiences at this free Wyndham City event, including:

  • ChronoHarp by Amigo & Amigo - An entirely new instrument of light and colour has landed in the centre of Wyndham Park ready for you to create beautiful tunes.

  • Trumpet Flowers by Amigo & Amigo - Shrink down to size below the glowing trumpet flowers and contribute to the musical melodies.

  • Birdsong by Skunk Control - Wander down the nature trail and look out for the beautiful sculptural birds, who have gathered to form a chorus and protect local species and sooth the community…but listen closely, do they have a warning for us?

  • Bloom by The Indirect Object - Relax amongst the gentle, soft pink inflatable gumnuts and flowers.

  • Ursula Lassos The Moon by Studio Vertigo – From UK artists, an ethereal, swirling glowing moon has been plucked from the sky and harnessed by a rope lasso.

  • Night Parrots by Chalk River Labs – Hypnotic, kaleidoscopic light washes over the giant night parrots which were until recently thought to be extinct. And think you know the park’s rocket ship? Well, you have never seen it like this before!

  • Cosmic Reverie by Teeny Fletcher - Werribee artist Teeny Fletcher takes us on a journey from dusk to dawn in a beautiful, dreamy glowing light walk.

  • Nocturnal Neighbourhood by Christie Widarto - As night falls, the nocturnal Neighbourhood of animals come out to play! Look out for the endangered species including; the Eastern Barred Bandicoot, the Fat-tailed Dunnart and the Barking Owl.

Make a night of it and enjoy dinner in Werribee City Centre – you’ll find restaurants, bars and pubs, gelato, takeaway options and family-friendly dining all just a short walk from Wyndham Park.
