The annual ANZAC Day Commemoration March offers a platform for former servicemen and women to reconnect with their units and march together, while also extending a warm invitation to descendants of veterans.
Thu 25 April 8.30am - 12pm
The event serves as an occasion for the public to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by those who have served or are currently serving in the defence forces.
The procession begins at 8:30am, with RACV vehicles transporting the first veterans, who are followed by the rest of the march, which begins at 9am. Typically, the march concludes around midday.
Everyone is invited join the march and show their support. The march can be viewed from various vantage points along the route, starting from Swanston Street (near Fed Square) and spanning down St Kilda Road to the Shrine of Remembrance.
