Welcome to the fourth Chinese Traditional Cultural Festival. Enjoy a delightful range of Chinese dance and music performances, lion and dragon dance, and various displays of Chinese musical instruments.
In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the vibrant market in the main square will feature traditional costumes, including the elegant Chinese Hanfu, accessories, and cultural handicrafts. Chinese food and snacks will also be available this year. The highlighted food street is packed with traditional Mid-Autumn Festival cuisine, such as mooncakes, alongside a variety of other speciality Chinese treats.
Everyone in Melbourne is invited to join in the hands-on activities celebrating intangible cultural heritage, such as pitch pot, calligraphy, and DIY lantern crafting.
