Mobile MESS – Creating Electronic Sound Workshop For Kids

  • Melbourne Recital Centre (map)

Mobile MESS is a hands-on workshop that invites young kids aged 7-12 to explore the magic of electronic sound creation.

In a fun and supportive environment, the workshop teaches the basic science behind sound, and how electricity creates music. Kids are empowered to experiment with synthesisers, drum machines and other musical instruments to craft sounds and make beats – all while exploring the intersection of electronic music, STEM and creativity!

Created for young people aged 7-12 and their parents/guardians at any skill levels are welcome, and no musical experience is necessary to take part in this workshop.

All materials are provided, with guidance and support offered by the Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS) Team.
