Gumbuya World Unleashes Wildfest for Ultimate Holiday Fun

Gumbuya World is dialling up the fun these school holidays with WILDfest, a two-week celebration of animals, rides and family-friendly entertainment running Saturday, July 5, to Sunday, July 20, from 11am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.

From the moment you arrive the adventure begins, with roaming wildlife and a full program of live shows, feeding sessions, animal encounters and craft activities – all included in the price of general admission.

The funtime experience extends to unlimited family rides including the Gumbuya Train, Dodgem Cars, Berry Twirl teacups, and the TNT roller coaster.

A highlight of the program is the Wildlife by Night sessions, held after dark every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. These ranger-hosted adventures provide close encounters with Pythons, Wombats, Tasmanian Devils, Squirrel Gliders, Kangaroos and other nocturnal animals. Sessions are limited to 35 guests and require separate booking with additional costs.

Visitors to Gumbuya World can sip hot chocolate and other warming winter brews while immersing themselves in the sights and sounds of the park at Wildlife by Night.

Then there’s the Wildlife Wanderers program which operates twice daily, at 11am-12 noon and 2-3pm throughout the holidays. Led by Gumbuya Rangers, the program features craft stations and hands-on wildlife encounters, and is included with general admission.

Other great daily experiences include the Wildlife Trail (11am-4pm), Aussie Outback Show (12 noon), and Free-Flight Bird Show (1.30pm) and family friendly rides.

The theme park will be operating on Wednesdays through to Sunday throughout the school holidays.

Gumbuya World is offering a two-week unlimited entry pass for $40 for a limited time, allowing visitors up to 12 visits during WILDfest.
