Pre-sales for the highly anticipated Australian tour of Heathers the Musical launch today, with Sydney tickets available now and tickets for Melbourne, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Canberra, and Perth going on sale in the coming weeks as this killer comedy embarks on a major Australia–New Zealand tour.
The high-octane black comedy rock musical – based on the cult 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater – will make its professional Australian premiere in 2026 following smash-hit seasons in London and New York.

Pre-sale tickets will be available for Sydney from 14 October at 11am, with Melbourne from 20 October at 9am. Perth, Gold Coast, and Canberra pre-sale will begin from 21 October at 10am, and Adelaide from 4 November at 9am. The remainder of the tickets will go live on 16 October in Sydney, 23 October in Melbourne, Gold Coast, Canberra and Perth, and November 6 in Adelaide.
Welcome to Westerberg High, where popularity is a matter of life and death. But when mysterious teen rebel J.D. arrives, Veronica soon learns it might kill to be a nobody, but it’s murder being a somebody.
With a mercilessly catchy mix of ballads and bangers by award-winning writers Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives) and Laurence O’Keefe (Legally Blonde The Musical), Heathers the Musical is directed by acclaimed American screen and stage director Andy Fickman.
Since its sold-out Los Angeles premiere in 2013 and New York debut in 2014, Heathers has gone on to three smash-hit West End seasons, multiple sold-out UK and Ireland tours, and a 2019 WhatsOnStage Award win for Best New Musical. In 2022, it was filmed and streamed globally via The Roku Channel. Most recently, the show smashed records at New York’s New World Stages, opening in June 2025 to the biggest advance sale in the venue’s history and immediately extending due to demand.
