A new era of play is arriving at Chadstone Shopping Centre, with the opening of Imaginationation on Monday 8 December. The premium, design-led play and learning space for children aged 0–7 is reimagining the traditional children’s playcentre.

Bookings open on Tuesday 2 December for the architecturally designed experience, which combines premium play spaces, immersive learning adventures and an exceptional café. Every corner of the 1,200sqm space has been meticulously designed to spark curiosity, creativity and connection. From interactive play zones and imaginative learning experiences to sensory spaces designed to delight both children and carers, Imaginationation invites families to explore, create and connect in a world built for wonder.
“Imaginationation is more than just a playcentre, it’s a place where design meets discovery. We wanted to create an environment that inspires joy, creativity and imagination at every turn. It’s not just for children, but for their grown-ups too,” said Ari Ritz, Melbourne-based entrepreneur, father of two and founder of Imaginationation.
The café serves great coffee, smoothies and better-for-you snacks, as well as baby and toddler food from Le Puree. Imaginationation has teamed up with colourful clothing brand Halycon Nights to create staff uniforms and an exclusive range of merchandise available for purchase. Imaginationation also offers play classes and a CONNETIX Builder Room. Annual memberships and birthday party packages will be available.
