A unique partnership with Melbourne Fashion Week as Australia gears up to embrace pink & green once again with this year’s epic conclusion to the global cinematic phenomenon, Wicked: For Good.
Wicked: For Good arrives in Australian cinemas on November 20.
Universal Pictures Australia is thrilled to announce a one-of-a-kind partnership with Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW) for this November’s cinema release of Wicked: For Good, the epic conclusion to last year’s worldwide sensation, Wicked, which shattered box office records and earned 10 Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture.
Wicked fans and costume lovers are in for a spellbinding treat with a free, Australian-first exhibition at Fed Square. The showcase will spotlight Oscar®, Emmy® and Tony®-winning designer Paul Tazewell’s extraordinary costumes created for Elphaba and Glinda in both films.

Universal Pictures ANZ Marketing Director Suzanne Stretton-Brown elaborates further: “Our filmmakers have created a truly spectacular cinematic experience. Partnering with Melbourne Fashion Week allows us to showcase that spectacle through costume design, giving fans an exciting glimpse of what awaits when Wicked: For Good hits cinemas on November 20.”
From October 13, visitors can marvel at the intricate craftsmanship and boundless creativity behind these breathtaking looks for two of cinema’s most iconic characters. The exhibition offers a rare chance to experience the magic up close and in-person ahead of the film’s release.
