Debneys Park, Flemington
We recently visited a craft market at the Flemington Community Centre and little Miss couldn't help but try the playground nearby - Debneys Park.
The Debneys Park was built a few years ago for residents nearby. This playground is great for little climbers as it includes a cubic climbing rock (pictured above), a pyramid climbing frame (pictured below), a hill with climbing spots and ropes, a climbing dome with all sorts of climbing fixtures inside as well as a few slides, two spinners and a flying fox.
This is a great playground for older kids who love climbing and running around, little Miss loved the different climbing fixtures as she is quite adventurous lately.
Little Miss' favourite bit of the playground was the flying fox, it was her first time and she really enjoyed it and went on there quite a few times during our visit.
The climbing dome is quite complex as it contains different climbing gear, ropes, a small swing etc.
Little Miss and I really enjoyed this playground. The only downside with this playground is that it is not shaded and therefore a bit tricky when the sun is out. There are however some shaded spots around, several benches to sit at, a shaded area with benches. There are no toilets at the playground however the Flemington Community Centre is nearby which also a BBQ area with more seatings, table tennis tables, a small soccer pitch and an oval.
Debneys Park is located at 3 Mount Alexander Road, Flemington. Best entrance and parking off Mount Alexander Road on Victoria Street.
