Musical Sprouts

Musical Sprouts is composed of three singers - Bridget, Sharni and Julia. The beauty about this harmonious team is that they are all mums so they know how to keep bubs entertained! Bridget is a mum of 1, Sharni a mum of 3 and Julia also a mum of 1. They each come with years of musical experience and are passionate about working and engaging children through music.

Little Miss and I were invited to attend Musical Sprouts' first concert held at Essendon Baptist Church last Thursday 12th of March and I am pleased to say we had a great time!

Little ones were entertained for 45 minutes with a mix of interactive musical parts, nursery rhymes and Disney songs from Mary Poppins and the much loved Frozen movie. Bridget, Sharni and Julia sang in harmony and made sure little ones (little Miss included) were kept busy. Little Miss' favourite parts were when little ones were asked to pick soft toys and asked their relation to nursery rhymes, when Bridget played the violin and when Bridget, Sharni & Julia sang the Mary Poppins'
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious song with umbrellas and the Frozen theme song of course!

We attended the first concert of the day at 11am and it was a great turnout pre-nap time. Grandparents, parents and friends were on attendance and little ones were welcome to stand at the front to dance and sing along.

Overall, little Miss and I had a great time, we loved Bridget, Sharni and Julia as entertainers and were really comfortable at the venue.

The Essendon Baptist Church on 138 Buckley Street in Essendon was a great place for the concert with updated facilities, lots of room, chairs, a change table in the ladies' bathroom and parking.

Musical Sprouts held two concerts in Essendon last Thursday 12th of March, one at 11am and the other at 1pm.
