Curtain Square Playground, Carlton North

The Curtain Square playground is located between Curtain Street and Newry Street in Carlton North. This playground has two main structures, one for little ones and the other for bigger kids.

The structure for little ones has stairs, a slide, a monkey bar, a few gadgets to play with and a springer. 

The structure for bigger kids has a dual slide, some monkey bars, a climbing rope, a passage bridge and a cubby area.

There are more monkey bars as well as two swings and a climbing spider web for big kids too next to the big kids' structure.

There are lots of benches to sit at, some nice grass to have a picnic on and a rotunda. There is also a set of swings for little ones away from the other swings and a few animal wooden statues to climb on.

This park has shading on top of the little ones' structure as well as the big kids' swing set. It has some fencing around the playground however some areas are open for little ones to walk onto the road, something to be mindful of. There are public toilets next to the playground and ample parking along both Curtain street and Newry street.
