Kids of all ages will have fun at Sydney's Seymour Centre these Spring holidays with some great shows, activities and free fun from the Thursday 27th of September till Tuesday 1st of October 2016.
For the first time in Australia, one of the world’ most-loved dogs will take to the stage in the musical Spot. With over 60 million books sold in six languages, Eric Hall’s Spot has been an essential part of childhood for over 30 years and is now adapted for the stage by the Netherlands’ Theatre Terra. Little ones can join the beloved puppy and his friends for an exciting and fun-filled adventure with help from new friends in the audience. There will also be a free Spot Puppetry Workshop after the show for ticket holders.
Children aged 5+ will love the wildly acclaimed Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo with prehistoric creatures from cute baby dinos to some of the largest carnivores and herbivores that have ever walked the planet! In this fun and educational show, children will learn how to feed and interact with Erth’s amazing array of unmistakably ‘alive’ creatures.
Families will also be treated to a buzzing program of free activities including The Owls Apprentice by Little Wings Puppets, a beautiful show combining shadow puppetry, hand puppetry and storytelling; and Polyglot Theatre’s Forest Feast where children will create a feast of food from craft items, as well as Ants, an interactive roving performance where human-sized ants and children work together in a gentle and unusual landscaping project.
