Quest Albury on Townsend - Albury - Review

During the recent school holidays, we drove to Melbourne from Sydney and decided to stop over at Albury overnight to make the drive easier for the kids. After searching different accommodation, we chose Quest Albury on Townsend as it ticked all the boxes in terms of location, size and number of the rooms offered, amenities, price and nearby shops, cafés and parks.

We booked a Two Bedroom Apartment which truly ticked all the boxes and was super clean. It had a good size lounge room and dining area with full kitchen with all cooking options, a fridge and dishwasher as well as a full laundry with washer and dryer and sink. The room also included free wifi, free foxtel and free underground Quest parking.

It also had a main bedroom with king size bed with a television for the parents and a second bedroom for the kids with two single beds. The rooms can be configured with either two single beds or one king size bed.

The apartment also had two bathrooms - one main bathroom near the kids’ bedroom which is attached to the laundry which had a shower/bath (shown below), sink and toilet. The bathroom for the main bedroom was an ensuite with a shower, sink and toilet. All the amenities and everything we needed was there which was excellent and Milk products were also offered.

Reception at Quest Albury on Townsend also recommended the nearby River Deck Café in Noreuil Park overlooking the gorgeous Murray River which was a short drive from the apartment as well as the gorgeous Children’s Garden part of the Albury Botanic Gardens. We loved visiting both sites and dropped in the River Deck Café on our way back to Sydney as we decided not to have a stopover on our return home.

Reception also recommended Oddies Creek Park which is an inclusive play space which caters for all ages and abilities which also features a flying fox, basket swing, toilets, BBQ and picnic area, musical sculptures, sandpit and climbing walls.
