Lost Picnic Melbourne - Melbourne - Review
Kate and her little ones headed to the first Lost Picnic Melbourne earlier this month while Lost Picnic Sydney returned to the Domain the following week. Lost Picnic is the ultimate outdoor live music event celebrating Spring, music, food and performance along with specially curated entertainment fun activities and lots of food options too to keep the whole family happy! Thank you Kate for the gorgeous pics. To follow Kate and her little ones’ adventures, head to their Insta page @kateflatman.
The event lineup for Lost Picnic Melbourne consisted of Tash Sultana, Meg Mac, Marlon Williams, Odette, Big Words and Hot Potato Band. Many music lovers brought a picnic along and settled back until late in the night enjoying the bands and the activities throughout the day.
Families were treated to some very specially curated activities, performances and entertainment under and nearby the Dreaming Space where Kate and her little circus fans spent most of the day while listening to the music in the background.
The Circus Playground was a fantastic drop in area where kids and adults were invited to discover the magic of circus play. Kate’s little ones learned how to use a hula hoop, how to spin plates, to learn poi and master the diablo.
Kids were also spoilt with special performances by Nylon Zoo who offered a variety of mostly magical, holographically hilarious, surprising and amazing interactive performances in and around an inflatable magic whale.
Krazy Koala performed his catchy songs and crazy puppet dance moves and Kazaam the Magician created wonder and mystery with humour and intrigue in his show.
Fizzics Science outdid themselves with a big science show which blew the kids' and adults’ minds.
There were also face painting, lawn games and roaming artists to keep the kids entertained.
Kate and her family truly had the best time at Lost Picnic Melbourne, they loved listening to the bands on stage, joining in the kids entertainment and relaxing on the lawn with delicious food and drinks too. Bring on Lost Picnic 2019!
Busy City Kids were invited to Lost Picnic Melbourne for the purposes of a review. All opinions & feedback are genuine & truthful. Food, travel and parking were self funded.
