Kids will love walking on Moonlight Beach and see their footsteps glow in the interactive floor projections and on screen display. Little Mister loved this section, he kept running around the beach and laughing.

Walk down the expansive coral garden which glows under the ‘night’ lights. Little Miss loved seeing her clothes, teddy glow, touching and looking at the coral display on walls.

Another interactive aspect of the exhibit is the coral spawning motion detecting display where visitors can control the coral reef current through motion sensors by moving their hands across the screen. Kids will love hanging onto the projected coral reef and clock too and being covered by the colourful projections.

Walk down further and you will see the giant turtle aquarium spanning along with Myrtle the rescue turtle and her fellow turtle friends Dave and Choung with hundreds of beautiful sea creatures. A great photo opportunity if you spot the turtles.

Visitors can learn how we can protect our reef by picking up litter on the beach and watch the life-cycle of a turtle through projection from nesting to the birth of baby turtles. Little Mister loved looking at the baby turtles. Little Miss is all across picking up litter at the beach with me to prevent sea creatures getting hurt so she loved the interactive litter game.

We loved visiting the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium to see the new $5 million interactive exhibit developed by a team of over 100 people, Day and Night on the Reef. This great exhibit is the largest Great Barrier Reef display in the world with interactive experiences which help visitors appreciate the Reef.

Busy City Kids were invited to the Day and Night on the Reef exhibit for the purposes of a review. All opinions & feedback are genuine & truthful. Food and travel were self funded.
