Goolwa Nature Playground - Adelaide - Review

The Goolwa Nature Playground also known as the Bristow-smith Reserve off Barrage Road in Goolwa is a great nature playground with a gorgeous life size boat with climbing structure, a slide, water play, musical instruments around the playground, more climbing structures and different types of swings.

Finished in mid 2016, it is a very popular playground and is packed in summer with access to a little sandy beach and access to the water. Supervision is recommended around the road, the water and high grass near the water for little ones as there are no fences. Great for catching up with friends for a play or a picnic or popping in if you are visiting the Fleurieu Peninsula.

We love the nature feel to it, it suits the area perfectly and the kids loved it! We loved the musical instruments and musical swans around the playground. There is also a cool wooden carved crocodile, large rock to climb and wooden carved tree to climb too!

The Goolwa Nature Playground is a gorgeous nature and water play playground near the water. There is no shade so do wear protective wear and sunscreen in warmer months. The playground is not fully fenced and it is close to a road and there is access to the water via a little sandy area. Caution must be taken around the road, water and high grass area next to the water with children. There are toilets close to the playground. Try the café or local club.
