The Canopy Playground in Lane Cove Sydney

Note: Archive Photos July 2020

The Canopy Playground opened in mid 2020 part of The Canopy Shopping Centre in Lane Cove was a nice addition for the community and green feel that the Canopy brings. We visited when the playground recently opened and during holidays so it was a little busy for us however it was still nice for the kids to explore.

The playground features a main structure with a top level, climbing nets and spiral slide with nearby additions.

Be mindful of little kids going up to the top level of the main large structure. Once they manage to climb up and decide they don’t want to go down the spiral slide they will feel trapped and will need a parent to help them get out of the top level.

Little trampolines were cute and a nice addition on top of the smaller structure climbing nets and sitting areas for parents and siblings.

The sand and water play were very popular and is a great feature and will no doubt be popular in summer, great to see shade clothes on top of this area.

Overall a nice playground with lots to do for little and older kids. The playground gets busy and not fenced so watch your little ones so they don’t venture away from the playground as it is close to smaller streets, shopping centre and car park.
