Hibiya Park in Tokyo - Review
After landing in Tokyo and waiting to check-in to our hotel in Ginza, we walked in the area and stumbled upon the Hibiya Park. The park is very low key but a nice break from the city skyscrapers. We stayed at Karaksa Hotel Premier Tokyo when we first arrived in Tokyo, read our review here.
We visited in July however it was nice and leafy with lots of seating areas and lots of shaded areas which was nice given the heat and humidity of summer.
It was cute to see lots of dogs in the park area with their proud owners taking photos of them near the fountain and blooming flowers.
The Hibiya Park has some fitness equipment as well as a playground area with practical play equipment, a flying fox and swings for both little and bigger kids.
It has a large pond where you can see turtles and fish and a big walking area where you will see a robot lawn mower ha!
On the other end of the Hibiya Park there is a café and a nearby pond where you might see some turtles in the water like we saw that day.
Overall, we liked the low key Hibiya Park, it was nice to walk around and have a break from the heat too.
