Women’s State of Origin is coming to Sydney on 1 June, and kids under 15 enter for free with a paying adult!
Many of the female players they were told as kids there was no future in rugby for women and it's hard to be what you can't see, but bringing kids along to this action-packed event could inspire a new generation of players!
Women’s State of Origin is bigger than ever and, for the first time, the series will be played over two matches in New South Wales and Queensland - a historic moment for the players and fans. The NSW Blues have won the past two Women’s State of Origins and will be looking to continue that run in Game One at Parramatta’s CommBank Stadium on Thursday 1 June.
Sydney and Townsville will host matches in the historic 2023 Ampol Women’s State of Origin Series.
The National Rugby League (NRL) announced that the first ever two-match series will be played in June and hosted by Sydney’s CommBank Stadium and Townsville’s Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
The match details are as follows:
Game I: Thursday 1 June | CommBank Stadium | Sydney
Game II: Thursday 22 June | Queensland Country Bank Stadium | Townsville
Seats are available from just $20 for adults and $40 for families, while juniors under 15 can enter free with a paying adult.
