The FANS French Market is back in 2023 and it will be the 17th edition of the FANS French Market. After two years of cancellation, the French Market in Killarney Heights successfully returned in 2022 and set a new attendance record.
An incredible number of visitors flocked to enjoy a piece of France. Created initially as a small school fete for the local community, the French Market in Killarney Heights has become one of the major French events across Australia.
The FANS French Market is a festival of fine foods, gourmet delights, handcrafted gifts and music; where children can enjoy fun rides and traditional French playground games.
In a creative layout, visitors wander in French-style streets to buy exceptional products inspired from France or created by French artisans.
A voyage to France & beyond
Visiting the French Market at Killarney Heights is like going on a trip around France – but not only.
Beyond French culinary specialities, clothing or arts, and in addition to the famous berets, foie gras, cheese or saucissons, the FANS French Market goes beyond boundaries and gathers the whole Francophone community.
It welcomes partners, merchants and specialities from Belgium, Canada and Switzerland to name a few.
Just before the end of the year, it is a great opportunity to buy unique gifts for family and friends! Seating on the grass or at a table eating charcuterie & baguette, croque-monsieur, madeleines, waffles or crepes, visitors can enjoy a 'festival' atmosphere with French music classics.
All proceeds go to support the FANS (French-speaking Association of the North Shore) bilingual program at Killarney Heights Public School.
When: Sunday 5 November 2023 9AM to 4PM

Finally, the French Market is also – and above all – a big party for the children with various games and rides including dodgem cars, bouncing castles and slides.
