Kids holiday workshop Year of the Dragon for 9–12 year olds at the Art Gallery of NSW

  • Art Gallery of NSW (map)

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon by making a handmade scroll depicting a magnificent, colourful dragon. In Chinese culture, the dragon is known to symbolize good luck, strength and health.

We will look at artworks in the collection for inspiration and see how other artists represent animals in their art. Learn about some of the mysteries surrounding the dragon and discover which animal represents the year in which you were born.

The class is fully supervised. All materials provided.
