Peter & the Wolf by The Metropolitan Orchestra at The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre

  • The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre (map)

One of the most popular children’s concerts of all time, Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf will enchant, entertain, and educate audiences both young and old.

Take your children on this amazing musical journey with Peter and his Grandfather, the Bird, Cat, Duck, the Hunters, and of course the big, bad, Wolf. Children will look, learn, see and hear each of the musical instruments that represent the different characters of this timeless story.

Narrator Alex Packard joins with conductor Sarah-Grace Williams and The Metropolitan Orchestra to present this engaging and interactive family concert. This is a fantastic opportunity to give your children a fun, first-class musical experience with a unique opportunity to learn about the instruments of a symphony orchestra. Watch your little ones fall in love with beautiful music and start a lifetime love of this timeless story with The Metropolitan Orchestra.

“This capability to deliver premium performances to any sized audience and appearing as anything from a small ensemble to a symphony-sized orchestra is testament to the versatility of this important orchestra and the high standards they continuously achieve.” – Guy Noble (ABC)

“The Metropolitan Orchestra, surely one of Sydney’s finest.” ClassikOn
