Budding artists and creatives can pick up some fun skills in these art workshops led by local artist and teacher Greta Thiering.
The Play! Kids Festival brings back the beloved art workshops, designed for kids of all ages. Crossing multiple art forms and techniques, these daily classes are the perfect school holiday activity for both the first-time artist, and the artistic prodigies!
Workshop Schedule:
Wednesday 9 October: Elephants in the Jungle Drawing
Using graphite and pencils, children will learn step-by-step how to draw an elephant in the jungle using shading techniques!
Thursday 10 October: Sweet Treats in Watercolour
Have fun with watercolours in this so “deliciously realistic” workshop where you will be painting your favourite sweet treats. It will look so good, you’ll wish you could eat them!
Friday 11 October: Giraffes on Safari Mixed Media Painting
In this fun workshop we will learn how to create one or more cheeky giraffes using mixed media techniques including pencil, oil pastels and watercolours.
