Louise Bourgeois - Sensory-friendly early entry at the Art Gallery of NSW

  • Art Gallery of NSW (map)

Join us on Saturday 10 February 2024 for a sensory-friendly, early-entry visit to see Louise Bourgeois: Has the Day Invaded the Night or Has the Night Invaded the Day? at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

This is an opportunity for visitors who may benefit from a calmer, quieter environment to experience the exhibition with reduced sensory stimuli.

There will be fewer people, no public announcements, and an opportunity to see the work of one of the most influential artists of the past century before it opens to the general public at 10am.

This event may suit people on the autism spectrum and those living with disability, dementia, a mental health condition or chronic illness. All ages are welcome.

The Art Gallery supports growing awareness of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program. Staff who have been trained to support visitors with hidden disabilities will wear a sunflower badge. Visitors are also encouraged to wear a sunflower lanyard, if they wish, which is available on arrival.
