See celebrated children’s author Libby Hathorn’s work come to life in a world premiere show.
Inspired by the work of Libby Hathorn, the State Library presents Incredibilia, adapted by acclaimed theatre-maker, Kim Carpenter (Theatre of Image) with music by Peter Kennard’s extraordinary one-man band. Incredibilia tells the story of two intrepid best friends as they embark on an imaginative journey – crossing super-hot deserts, into spooky cities, through exotic gardens and on a trip over the moon – to discover the true meaning of connection. This heartwarming performance is a celebration of family, friendship and the warmth and comfort of home.
As a Sydney Writers’ Festival exclusive, Libby Hathorn, will appear live on stage following the 11am and 1pm performances on Saturday the 25 of May. The full season at the State Library of NSW runs from the 12th–26th of May.
