Visit the Museum in a reduced sensory, relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Early Birds provides a reduced sensory, relaxed and supportive environment prior to the Museum opening to the public for the day. This can make visiting the Museum easier for autistic people and for those who have other access requirements, together with friends and families.

From 8am you will be able to buy tickets to see our newest exhibition, Ramses & the Gold of the Pharaohs. Transport yourself back 3,300 years, across the sands of the Sahara Desert where you reach the heartbeat of Ancient Egypt ruled by the most celebrated pharaoh in the country's storied history. Experience one of the greatest collections of its kind, in this Australian-first exhibition.

A supportive environment with limited visitors prior to the Museum opening to the general public.

Lighting and sound will be adjusted for a low sensory experience within the rest of the Museum (these will return to daytime levels from 10am).
