OUR REVIEW HERE.

#sydney Catching up on posts we've been meaning to publish, thanks to this long weekend! A little while ago, we stopped by the @sea.museum for the stunning Guruwin: Sharks of Sydney Harbour show by @erthaustralia and checked out the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition during our visit.

It’s become a yearly tradition for us to enjoy wildlife photography from around the world, captured by talented photographers. This year’s exhibition showcases images across sixteen categories, including Animals in the Environment, Underwater, and Photojournalism, judged by international industry experts. An incredible 49,000 entries were received! The kids’ favourite was Hippo Nursery by Mike Korostelev, featuring a hippopotamus mum and her two babies (one cleverly camouflaged). While there were many stunning photos showcasing the beauty of our world and its creatures, the exhibition also highlights how our planet is under pressure, with humans contributing to environmental issues affecting both fauna and flora. It’s true what they say: a photo speaks a thousand words - and we need to act on this vision now. The exhibition is on now until 10th November and perfect to visit these holidays along with lots of cool school holiday activities the museum has on including the popular Kids on Deck area.
